Just ordered a short throw shifter

Along with some solid aluminum bushings for the base of the shifter. I've wanted to do this for a while, but I just can't deal with the throw to 2nd anymore.

The action of the stovk shifter is sloppy and the throws are crazy long, especially into second. My car requires a hell of alot of shifting so this will almost certainly be money well spent.

I went back and forth about getting one for my miata. I decided I was broke lol. I did rebuild the shifter though, and what a difference that made!

.... Just don't let it make you shift too fast. Shifting too fast eats synchros.

Given how it is now, it should shift "normal" with this.
